What this service is for
Pulse Connect is a separate business email connection service under the Pulse of Chennai brand. It lets an invited account owner authorize read-only access to Gmail for the report workflow identified by their business.
Information used
When enabled, the service uses your Google account identifier and verified email address, authorization credentials, and the messages and attachments needed for your configured business workflow. Google’s read-only permission can technically read the mailbox; application filters narrow which reports the workflow retrieves. These filters do not narrow the Google permission itself.
Storage and sharing
Refresh credentials are encrypted before storage in a separate connection database. Google credentials are not sent to client websites. Selected report contents may be delivered to your own business’s authorized workflow server. That business must explain its downstream processing and retention before you connect. Cloudflare provides the hosting and database infrastructure; Google provides authorization and Gmail APIs.
Limited use
Pulse Connect’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models. Human access is limited to the circumstances allowed by that policy, such as your explicit consent for support or necessary security and legal purposes.
Retention and deletion
This connection service does not persist message bodies or attachments. It stores the connection identity and encrypted credentials while connected, plus short-lived message identifiers to authorize attachment retrieval. Message identifiers expire after ten minutes; expired invitation, session, and identifier records are removed by maintenance. Disconnecting removes the active credentials, sessions, identifiers, and connection record; if Google is temporarily unreachable during revocation, the connection is blocked and deletion can be retried. Data already received by your business is governed by that business’s retention policy. Infrastructure backup retention and the responsible operator’s legal details must be confirmed before public launch.
Your choices
You can decline permission, disconnect through your connection page, or revoke access in your Google Account. Contact pulseofchennai@gmail.com for deletion or privacy questions. Do not send passwords or tokens.
